That depends on what you consider painful. You will feel a series of light pinches during the process. However, laser tattoo removal does not hurt as much as getting a tattoo. With the Quanta Q-Plus C device, you will feel a snap against your skin, which will indicate that the ink is being broken up in the skin. Yes. Most types of tattoos can be removed. However, the location of the tattoo on the body may take longer for the tattoo ink to break apart based on the durability of the skin. Also, some colors are more resistant than others and may take more sessions for them to be removed. Still, most tattoos can be removed. The only exception is permanent make-up, which we can be discussed during a consultation.

Any tattoo with traditional ink can be removed with the Quanta Q-Plus C. However, some cosmetic inks that are used for permanent make-up have metallic bases, which will cause them to darken when treated with the laser tattoo removal device, and it may take longer to remove.

Larger tattoos with deeper colors like blue, red, green can take 10 treatments to remove, and smaller tattoos with only one color can be removed in 5-6 treatments. We will determine the total number of sessions necessary during the consultation.
